Rotherham Hospice is a local charity committed to delivering compassionate, holistic care for those with terminal illnesses and their families.

Story

Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my page

I have decided to take up the challenge of cycling over 310 miles from London to Paris in 5 days, don't worry, I ask myself the same question you are thinking every day, why?!?!

However, all proceeds will be going to Rotherham Hospice, which has a day centre for patients with palliative and long term health conditions such as cancer, heart failure, motor neurone disease and MS to name a few. It also provides an inpatient service for those needing specialist symptom control and end of life care. On top of this incredible work, the hospice also provides outreach into the local community, providing a hospice at home service to ensure patients who are dying at home receive specialist support and care along with their families.

Rotherham Hospice a registered charity and is invaluable to patients, families and the local community, so when I found out it is self funded I wanted to raise funds on their behalf and support in any way possible. I promise that your money will be incredibly well spent as this service is quite simply amazing!
