We are aiming to raise awareness of psychological and emotional abuse through our production of Gaslight.  In modern parlance, to "gaslight" someone is to systematically manipulate their thinking so that they can no longer trust their own judgment - and its etymology derives from this 1939 play.  Most commonly seen in narcissistic relationships, the saddest part is the person being "gaslighted" doesn't even know it is happening.

By knowing more about what it is - and how hard it can be to leave, we are hoping to encourage more people to speak up - and get out.  No-one ever has the right to tell you what to think.

We have chosen MIND because they have helped a number of people close to us, and are doing wonderful work supporting all those with the scars and wounds that are invisible.  Not only that - they promote being able to live your life, and to thrive beyond "getting well".
