About the charity : Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy
The Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy, formerly known as the Osteopathic Centre for Children, seeks to ensure that paediatric osteopathy - a gentle, efficient therapy - is established as the first recourse for parents and carers concerned for their child's health. We accomplish this by raising awareness of paediatric osteopathy, participating in research, training paediatric osteopaths and offering over 30,000 free treatments to babies, children and pregnant and post-partum women each year. We receive no Government funding, so are entirely reliant upon the generosity of the public to fund our services.

Personal message:

Hi there, thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In October 2008 I will be joining a group of intrepid osteopaths who are going to attempt to ride 1300km in 10 days through northern India to raise money for the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy. To make things more interesting we will be riding on 500cc Royal Enfield Bullets ( and yes, the controls are all on opposite sides to modern bikes). Much of the travel is through the Himalayas including a really tough 275km ride through the 10,000ft Jalori pass, in one day, with a very brave pillion passenger!

Please sponsor me now, the proceeds will go to a fantastic charity that does really good work.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
