Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Over the coming few months, I am running in a number of events, culminating in the Great North Run 2009 on the 20th September.
I am running the 'Two castles run' a 10k in Warwickshire on the 7th June, the 'Swanage 1/2 Marathon' on the 19th July, and finally the 'Great North Run' in September.
That's a combined total of 32.4(and a bit) miles, and that doesn't even include training!
The charity I have chosen to sponsor is Papyrus, they help prevent young suicides, and also help and support the families left behind.
One of my friend's from school sadly decided to end his life last year, and this is why Papyrus is my chosen charity. They've worked wonders for my friend's family, and could do so much more if they had the funds, which is where you come in.
I appreciate times are hard for many people at the moment, which is why i've grouped my runs together, for one handy sponsorship! Please give whatever you can, as a great marketing guru once proclaimed 'every little helps'.
Thanks in advance to all of you, it really is much appreciated!
If any of you want updates, or fancy coming along to support (or just to laugh at me in running shorts) then please let me know and i'll try and organise something.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Papyrus (Prevention Of Suicides) gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
