Story
Dear Friends,
In February I received an email inviting me to travel 420km across one of the world’s most biodiverse islands, whilst helping deliver vital IT education to school children worldwide. Strangely, the challenge was no deterrent in my decision, and I quickly whisked off my application form – that was the easy bit!!!
Now the hard bit - unfortunately the stretched limo with the extra large beer fridge is already booked out for that week, so the best they could do was offer me a two-wheeled alternative, and not the motorised kind either. You guessed it, I will be cycling across incredibly varied terrain, averaging 52 miles per day over a period of five days, enduring sizzling temperatures around the 80’s, being eaten alive by the native mozzies and probably by the end of it I won’t be able to sit down without the aid of a rubber ring for at least a week when I get back!!!.....still it is all for a very good cause, so……..what do I need from you? ….. lots of sponsorships which you can make from the comfort of your own home !!
The minimum sponsorship of £2,700 that I need to raise is enough to provide an entire 20 PC lab to a disadvantaged school for the first time.
So, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE dig deep and help me to make a difference.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Computer Aid International will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support!
