Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children in Crossfire gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Trek Peru 2009 (http://www.trekperu2009.com/) is organised by Children in Crossfire (http://www.childrenincrossfire.org).

The Derry based independent charity is set up to tackle poverty in some of the world's poorest communities, working with the people for the people to establish sustainable development initiatives and strengthen their abilities to be self-sustaining.  A full description of what Children in Crossfire can be found on their website www.childrenincrossfire.org:

My target is to raise to raise £3650, £1000 of which I am donating myself.  I have already reached the second target of £2650 and well on the way to meeting the final target by 10 September.

Can I humbly ask you to donate what you can afford for this very worthwhile cause?

Offline activities over the coming months have included

  - table quiz in People's bar, Claudy, - Friday 26th June 2009 - Raised £965 - THANK YOU!!!!

  - Scorecast - Guess the score of each premiership match on a given weekend.  Being run in HBOS, Singularity and All State - Raised £77 in only the last two weeks of Premiership.  Roll on 2008/09 season! 

  - Prize draw - Raffled U2 tickets within HBOS - raising £124
