I wanted something challenging to focus on! I have seen this amazing event over the past 2 years and decided this was just what I needed! 

I am an avid sailor and supporter of the RNLI, and wanted to give something back, so the connection with the water worked for me too.

I am working with a local personal trainer to improve my swimming techniques and stamina and getting used to swimming in open water
