Story

Welcome to The Great British Antiques Web Fundraising Challenge 2009.

June 2009 Update.
This is our first-ever fundraising campaign and It's proving to be a be a very exciting time for us. So far we've received donations and support from many in the Great British antiques trade and hoteliers.

Early in the year we appealed for used postage stamps and got an immediate response! We later launched a Chain of Collecting boxes, asking anyone with retail premises to accept one for us, again good response.

Following this we launched Web Links, an easy to navigate web page that provides direct links to members of the antiques trade, for just a £2 donation to CHSW we will place a link on the page for a full year. Many have seen this as great value as we have had supporters from not only the Southwest but as far away as the Midlands, the East coast and Southeast. Thanks to everyone concerned.

We have now raised over £200 and considering the current financial climate I think this is a fantastic achievement, thanks again to everyone and please enjoy the good weather (hopefully) this summer brings!

The Great British Antiques Web is an online resource of the British antiques trade, and as a small way of thanks for your donation we have created a special 'thank you' webpage where we would like to invite everyone to send in a message or upload a photo. If yours is of personal support or experience of CHSW perhaps maybe you would like to share it with others. If you wish to donate on behalf of your business, antiques or otherwise please add a photo and a little self promotion, thanks. To add your special message please CLICK HERE.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to donate and the Children's Hospice South West gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement is added to your donation.

Very many thanks for your kind consideration.
