£35,000 needed for GB European Deaf Football Championships Squad We are now currently raising funds for Great Britain Deaf Football for the 6th European Football Championships in Lisbon, Portugal, 10th- 23rd June 2007.
Great Britain Deaf Football beat Sweden in the qualifying matches on an aggregate of 8-0 over 2 legs in 2006.
The European Football Championships will reach an estimated cost of £35,000 for the Great Britain Deaf Football Squad. This includes training weekends; including a training weekend in Croatia, participation in the European Football Championships, and of course, the Great Britain Deaf Football kit.
The British Deaf Sports Council has awarded Great Britain Deaf Football £10,000 towards our total costs. We cannot thank them enough for their hard work in ensuring we can reach our target.

The Government and the FA at present will not recognise the Great Britain Deaf Football as a body. Therefore, we rely on charitable donations/sponsorships and kind donations from outside support.
