Run to the Beat 2011 · 25 September 2011 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I am running the Nike - Run to the Beat half marathon (13.1 miles) on the 25th September 2011 through London, starting and finishing at the 02 Arena. My sister Becki is currently recovering from a stroke she had at age 21, on 27/02/2011. After the long road she has fought through she is at the last few stages of her recovery, please donate towards my run so i can make her as proud as she made me, aswell as helping to raise money and awareness for strokes, particurally that effect young people.

All donations of any amount are appreciated and go directly to The Stroke Association.

Thanks,

George Cobb
