I completed the 2012 London Marathon for the Blue Cross raising over £2,250. I was delighted with everyones generosity and support. It wasn't an easy journey and at times I felt giving up would be easier. In July 2011 I suffered an ectopic pregnancy and a marital breakup. My two dogs (Buster and Millie) were the two reasons I got up everyday and carried on. I am so very proud of them both and although they can be mischievous they bring me joy daily. Some animals are not as lucky and find themselves without a family to love and care for them. After visiting the Blue Cross Hospital at London Victoria I realised just how much the Blue Cross do for animals in need.

Despite my ongoing health issues in 2011-2012 I managed to complete the Marathon in 6 hours 51 minutes. I was delighted with this time but immediately knew I could and would do much better if given the opportunity again. I would love to raise £5,000 for the Blue Cross and would be very happy with a finishing time of under 5 hours.

Training is continuing and I am ready for the biggest challenge of my life and I hope that you can help me achieve this.
