Well its official, i am running the London Marathan 2009 but for a cause close to my heart, The Dame Vera Lynn Trust. I never really understood the disability yet recently i have worked with Dame Vera herself and seen the amazing work the trust does and it truly changes your perspective on life.

For a family to be suddenly and unexpectedly faced with the news that their child is affected by Cerebral Palsy is a life altering experience. The special attention that their child will need in his or hers early years is woefully lacking in the public sector. Early intervention in crucial yet no other organised help is available and nothing is funded by the Goverment!
