Classrooms For Kenya is a charity started by staff and students of The Weald School, West Sussex. The charity's aim is simply to promote education in Kenya by raising funds to build new, permanent and safe classrooms for Kenyan children.

Story

I am writing to request a donation from you to allow me to carry out charitable community work in Kenya during the summer of 2010.  I am currently in my final GCSE year at Banbury School where this expedition is being arranged through Camps International Ltd.  To take part however I need to raise £3,500 by 1st May 2010.

The main aim of the expedition is to hold out a project work helping village communities in ways that they request.  For example, Kenyan schools are very poorly built and the pupils often have no chairs, tables or paper to write on. By the end of our four-week expedition, we will have helped this charity and their country out a large amount.  After completing the project work we will be taken on Safari to learn about the local plant and wildlife, work for a PADI scuba diving qualification and understand the country in more depth.

If you would like to help through Justgiving, it is quick, easy and totally secure.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this letter and I hope you feel able to help.

Yours faithfully
