For anyone who knows the state I was in following the Moonwalk two years ago (I couldn't even bend down to take my own shoes off) you may be wondering why I am volunteering for this hell again and, worse, without the support of any teammates...
The simple answer is that I am insane and unwilling to admit that giving £700 of my own money to charity would be far less painful than going through the agony and exhaustion of walking 26.2 miles in Edinburgh at midnight.
The other, more perverse, answer is that two years on most of my memories are good and I think (hope) I can do it again and maybe even a little bit quicker this time.
