In October this year I will attempt to conquer the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in an effort to raise £3,000 for Tenovus. Mount Kilimanjaro is nearly 6,000m high and the climb will take 5 days to complete.

Before attempting the trek, I will also be taking part in a project at The Mbokomu School, which is situated at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. I will work alongside the pupils and teachers to create a ‘recreational area’, so that the children have somewhere to play sports and games.
