Link believes all children have the right to a good quality education. We work with schools and communities in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi and Uganda. By sharing and developing skills we are bringing about long-lasting change, helping over a million children have a better start in life.

Story

Hi everyone...yes it appears that working for a charity is not enough and you have to be dragged into running events for them (small print of the contract apparently). While I realise it is not a marathon, 10km's is enough to get in the way of my eating and drinking habits - and I would really appreciate any amount of money.

Your money will be going to help support improvements to primary education in Ghana, Malawi, South Africa and Uganda. We are a small NGO so not only is it a good cause but the money donated from events like this - really help us increase our work in Africa.

Thanks so much -

ps. if you are working and pay tax please tick the Gift Aid - as LCD will get more money from the tax man, hoorah!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Link Community Development will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
