Hiya
On 29th March I will be abseiling 100ft down the side of 'The Water Tower' at Tower Park, Poole.
This is part of the 2CR FM event raising money for Julia's House and Help a Local Child, two very deserving charities.
As you may know my son Patrick is severely disabled and attends Julia's House Hospice for pre-school sessions and toddler goup. Patrick absolutely loves it there, all the staff are amazing and we can leave Patrick in their care for a few hours at a time and know that he is in safe hands and having lots of fun.
Julia's House is a fantastic charity and so much more than a hospice.
As a family we all benefit from the fantastic support that Julia's House gives us, Isaac is looked after on special sibling days and Martin and I benefit from their carer's service at home, Patrick has a carer who comes round once a week to look after him so we can go out to lunch and have some time on our own, without Julia's House I don't think we would cope half as well as we do.
