As most of you know myself and 3 gallant girlfriends AKA 'Gloria's Girls' (see picture) hit the streets of central London on Saturday night to powerwalk 26.2 marathon miles in The Moonwalk in not much more than our gayly decorated bras - yikes on both counts!  I'm delighted to report WE DID IT in 6hrs and 45 mins!  The training program was tough but certainly paid off.  I'd clocked well over 150 miles in the past 3 months and had been plagued with blisters along the way.  Why? you might ask - the answer is simple - for breast cancer.

I'm sure each of you will have been touched in some way by this familiar disease.  If not personally you will know someone who has.   We were particularly inspired by the survivors walking with us on Saturday night and hope you will dig deep to help them and others.........
