Here we go again, 26 and a bit miles of madness!
The pain of the first marathon has faded away and I am ready to embrace the challenge of getting round the course once more and not ending up in the medics tent at the finish line. With my personalised training plan given to me by an Olympic trainer (well he takes blood from rowers ears!), I am looking for a PB of under 4 hours.
I am hoping that my efforts over the next few months will not go to waste as I will be raising money for the RP fighting blindness charity. (The British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society). They are an amazing charity who's research helps find cures for people that have genetic eye conditions that are either born with visual impairments of develop them later in life.
I am hoping that the money I raise could help find the cure for Choroideremia, as this is the main reason for putting myself through the pain in order to give hope to a person that means so much to me.
Every bit will help and will transform many people’s lives. Thank you for your support.
