The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. In 2024 we assisted more than 64,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2026 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, and a special Thank you to all who have donated to the RAFBF.

I have always been fascinated by the Royal Air Force - my father served briefly in the RFC, as a small boy I used to watch the pre-war Hendon Air Display, and then as a schoolboy during the Battle of Britain I watched Fighter Command fighting the enemy in the skies over London.  The RAF has served our country and our allies well for over 90 years and we owe much to all those Servicemen and Servicewomen who have risked or given their lives in order that we may live in peace.

Please sponsor me now.    Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me; The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund gets your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

We had thick cloud all day on July 11 and again on September18; no one jumped but we did complete our training session.  However on October 10 we had a fine sunny day and the sky was full of parachutes!  I jumped from 13000' - it was a most fantastic and wonderful experience.

  Fundraising will continue.
