Tom White - a great friend of ours and many others tragically died in the summer of 2005 at the age of 15. He was an amazing guy, always up for a laugh and achieved a huge amount in his short life. He was and is loved by all that got to know him, both young and old.
We are running the London Marathon (no easy task for us!) in memory of our friend and we are raising funds for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire air ambulance whose efforts to save Tom’s life were amazing.
Please sponsor us to help them continue their brave and important work which saves so many people every year.
Here are just a few ways that your kind sponsorship will help:
£15 will pay for the Air Ambulance to fly one mile.
£25 will buy lifesaving drugs and analgesics to help ease the pain of people when they need it the most.
£34 could pay for a chest drain set – a piece of equipment used to re-inflate a patients lung.
£80 could buy a specialist pelvic splint.
£500 could pay for a re-usable ‘scoop’ stretcher, to immobilise the patient while on board the helicopter and protect them from further injury.
Thank you!
