Story

Our three-year-old, George, needs five pieces of equipment just to get around his house and was not expected to see his first birthday.
We are raising £20,000 to buy a Dragon power chair which would give him freedom and independence. With the three dimensional movment is will be ideal as he will be able to move around the house, up and down to the floor unaided.
Mum Donna Carr said: “When he was nine months old he had a seizure that lasted for four weeks. The doctors told us that was it and to prepare for the worst, so we had him christened and he had end-of-life care. They didn’t know what was wrong with him and said he was a palliative case so to just enjoy every day with him while he’s here.
“He gets frustrated because he sees his sister Penny moving around wherever she likes but he has to move from piece to piece of equipment.
The new power chair will mean that he won't have to rely on others to get where he wants to go.

We are fundraising for the turbo trust because it is an organisation which helps people like George to get the equipment that he needs get back a part of his life that we had almost given up on.
