My story
Hello one and all!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I'm George Driscoll, I’m hoping to raise as much money as I can for cancer sufferers, and am doing it in memory of my grandfather John Driscoll, a kind, warm and hardworking man, loved his family dearly and who was taken by cancer. He will be forever loved and missed.
Me and a few friends; Daniel Tovey, James Brown and Jon Coulles wanted a challenge, a genuine challenge worthy of raising money for Marie Curie, we eventually decided on The Balkan Peninsula in Bulgaria, after a long search we have found a guide who will take us off the beaten track and deep into the mountains, after stressing we are of good health and want the trek to be physically demanding in order for us to feel justified in raising money for charity, he suggested climbing the two highest peaks on the Balkan Peninsula in just one week, in a round trip from Borovets to Bansko (if you want to look it up), two towns in the mountains. And (maybe a little hastily) we agreed.
Everything will be paid for by us, every penny you donate will go straight to Marie Curie, every little bit counts, thank you friends, family and all for your help and support,
George Driscoll and friends x
