At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

In February I lost my Grandma Joyce Rosina Froud to Alzheimer's. It was devastating for my family and I to watch someone you love die of this terrible disease.

In memory of my Grandma, my family and I are walking 10 miles on September 22nd, to raise much needed funds for the Alzheimer's Society.

All of the money that we raise will help support people living with dementia and their families, so your donation will make a huge difference.

Just £50 will pay for someone with dementia to go to a Dementia Café session every week for a month, where they can meet others, share experiences and feel less isolated. And the more we raise, the bigger the difference it will make.

Thank you for your support, it is very much appreciated.
