Flora London Marathon 2007 · 22 April 2007 ·

Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Last year I smashed my target time of 3:45 finishing in 3:32! So I have set another ambitious goal of sub 3:25 for this year!

In the past 12 months I have covered over 1,000 miles including the Yorkshireman Mountain Marathon where running as a pair we finished 3rd and the Thames Ultra 50 mile where I was placed 15th...

Thank you to those that have sponsored me in previous years and to those who are pledging for the first time.  Having suffered a ‘near miss’ with a spinal injury I am extremely grateful to everybody that helps me raise funds to enable Spinal Research to continue their ground breaking trials.

Many thanks for your support
