Hello!

My name is Georgia and I am 5 years old!

Two days after my first birthday I was diagnosed with a Stage 3 Wilms' Tumour. During that time, my mummy and daddy had to shave off my fluffy baby hair.

After lots of operations and chemotherapy, and a couple of life threatening infections thrown in for good measure, I was told I was in remisssion in June 2009. This June I will have my next scans and hopefully that will mean I am four years in remission and have only one more year to go until I am All Clear!

My hair started to grow back as soon as my chemotherapy finished - and apart from a bit of emergency hair-dressing after some experimentation with a pair of scissors, I have hardly had my hair cut since it grew back. Yesterday it was all the way down to my waist.

Today I had it cut short and will donate 13 inches to the Little Princess Trust so that another little girl can have beautiful long hair when they lose their own through chemotherapy.  

But the Little Princess Trust needs more than hair. It costs on average £350 to make each wig and I would love to be able to raise this to pay for the making of it as well....or maybe even more than one!

Battling cancer is hard for anyone, but some little girls can be even sadder when they lose their hair and don't look like their friends anymore. The Little Princess Trust gives out wigs free of charge to as many little ladies as they can.
