On Sunday 11th October 2009 I ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon. This was a huge challenge for me and I am so incredibly proud of myself because I never thought I would be able to do it, let alone without stopping - BUT... I did it!!!! It took me 2 hours, 41 minutes and 14 seconds - ... thats right and I did not stop once! I also did it much quicker than I could possibly have imagined! So please sponsor me to make the pain I am STILL in, worth while!!!
I ran for The Cure Parkinsons Trust - which is dedicated to the research side of Parkinsons with a goal to find a cure...It really is such a great charity so please sponsor me! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, it has made this whole ordeal much more worth while!
I think the most running I have ever done is for a bus, and I have always used my Asthma as an excuse not to run - so this was me changing my ways. But I am happy to say I did not need my inhaler during the race, which was a relief.
