The Bristol Urological Institute aims to improve the treatment and care of people with urological disorders, to support and develop research with particular emphasis on cancers of the urinary tract and the problem of incontinence and to provide a high standard of training for nurses, medical students, doctors and surgeons.

My personal message:

This year, I have decided to join the annual stampede of brave people running the London Marathon. The worthy cause that I am raising money for was chosen by the incredibly brave individual who I am very proud to have as a mum. Nearly all of you will know that mum broke her spinal cord 5 years ago this February. This opened our family up into a world we knew very little about. There are so many people in similar situations to mum be it worse or not so severe and I really want to raise money to give these people a better life. In mum's opinion the most significant risks, discomforts and problems associated with her injury are the constant fear of kidney and bladder infections and the difficulty with their function. This charity is currently making huge steps to combat this and need money to fund their research. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
