Starting November 23rd, I am taking part in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (“ARC”), sailing my boat Que Será from the Canaries to St Lucia across the Atlantic with two of my Ernst & Young colleagues, Mike Knight and Jock Lennox.

I am raising money for three charities - Action for Children which supports and speaks out for the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK; Hope and Homes for Children which works with orphaned, abandoned or vulnerable children in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa; and Baale Mane a shelter for girls in Bangalore, India, many of whom have been rescued from child labour.

Action for Children is acting as the lead charity and will split the proceeds three ways.
