12 April, GBP 5,600 and counting, wow! Thank you very much for your support. I really appreciate it. I just came back from a family trip driving along the marathon route. The kids will watch the marathon tomorrow from a boat cruise along the Thames and from the London eye. They are indeed excited. Alicia is stretching her creativity to accommodate yet another high carbo meal; I think it's Nasi Goreng tonight. I now sign off, hasta manana. __________________________ 11 April, I now have my official number and shoe-pod. The registration site was beaming with marathoners. I must confess the adrenaline is building. I have also double the fundraising target to GBP 4,000... thanks to all of you who have contributed. I very much appreciate it. Well, off we go to my last run before the real one. ___________________________ 10 April, Crisis hits the Garcia Camp: I left my trainers in Miami! Golden rule is never to try new clothes/shoes/drinks during the marathon. Fortunately I was able to find an exact match at a sports store. I went out for a short run this evening and we are back in business. T minus 58 hours and counting... ___________________________ Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
