Leading Selfless’ Elective Aid 2013 trip is one of the most challenging projects I have ever embarked upon; however I am confident that it will be an incredibly rewarding, beneficial and fulfilling experience.

I have always tried to be pro-active at university, using my skills as a medical student to run seminars promoting healthy lifestyle choices for the local Bangladeshi community. The success of these seminars whetted my appetite for change; I wanted to reach the world’s poorest and make a positive difference.
