I decided to take part in this event because Help For Heroes is close to our hearts and I know people who have benefitted from the charity. I will be deploying to Afghanistan in the near future so could possibly be calling on the charity myself one day. I have been thinking about doing something challenging for the charity for some time. Before buying a racer very recently, I've probably only ever cycled a kilometer in my life. I'll get round to some training soon too!
