Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Chai Cancer Care gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

I'm raising money for Chai Cancer Care since they have already been very helpful to me in dealing with my cancer. When I was first diagnosed my thoughts were all over the place so Chai helped me calm down and focus on getting things done one step at a time. Chai have also helped my family understand how they can help and have given them a place to confront their own fears and concerns about the cancer. They offer complimentary therapies to ease some of the difficulties sufferers go through during treatment and also offer a supportive framework to help cancer sufferers get through what can be a very emotionally difficult time. I want others to be able to benefit as easily as I have been able to.

Chai Cancer Care is the Jewish community’s cancer support organisation, providing a range of services including counselling, therapies, complementary therapies, helpline, a comprehensive programme of social and physical activities, advocacy and advice as well as expert lectures.<p> <p> Services are available to patients, their family and friends. Since starting the page we have expanded our services and Based at its Centre in Hendon, services are also available in the Redbridge Jewish Community Centre, South London (Nightingale), Greater Manchester (Heathlands), Glasgow (Walton Community Centre) and in people’s homes.<p> <p> Chai’s specialist professional staff is augmented by a team of trained volunteers.<p> <p> Chai Cancer Care is an independent organisation serving the entire Jewish community and is reliant on voluntary contributions.<p>
