Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As some of you will know, I've always liked a challenge and this time is no different. After a few drinks one evening, myself and my good friend Andrea, decided that the London to Brighton Cycle Race would be a good challenge to set ourselves.
It is a 54 mile race from Clapham Common to the beach at Brighton. Training has started and I have just invested in some much-needed padded shorts!
I will be raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association which is a charity very close to my heart, having lost Dad to MND last year. I want to raise as much money as I can for this very worthwhile cause which helps care for people who are diagnosed with the disease and living through the difficult reality of coping without any hope of a cure. It also funds scientific research into the causes, treatments and a potential cure for the disease which we hope will one day be a reality. The race takes place on 21 June (Father's Day).
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Motor Neurone Disease Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
