Great Scottish Run 2008 · 7 September 2008 ·

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I can't believe a year has passed since the last 10k.  I also can't believe I am putting myself through another 10k but I believe I have another good cause to fundraise for.

As you may know, my pal Wee Wilson's dad - Frank, died this year.  He had suffered for a few years with Alzheimers Disease.  It was shocking to see such an active and intelligent man change in such a dramatic way.  It was also evident that Frank's illness placed a lot of strain on his family.

As more people are diagnosed with dementia, demand for care and support increases.  Hopefully the money that I raise can go someway to helping the cause of Alzheimers Scotland.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer Scotland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!  THANK YOU X
