Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

(My first attempt was cancelled due to bad weather so now I've got even more time to raise money!!)

The money raised from me jumping out of a plane, and hopefully living, will be split between the Pregnancy and Parents Centre (BRC) and Diabetes UK!

I support these charities full heartedly since I work for the PPC and I have been Diabetic for 20 years so think that the 2 causes deserve all the money they can get to help other people.

The Pregnancy and Parents Centre is moving forward and we want to offer our services to as many people as possible.  I have been doing a lot of work in promoting the centre and need at least £250 for the new advert and fliers etc.  It's an exciting time just now as the centre progresses and it's great being a part of that.

Myself and my family have supported Diabetes UK since I was diagonosed always hoping that there would be a sucessful treatment found which didn't involve injections. There is constant research into new ways to help people with diabetes and I have participated in a number of research projects.  I hope to continue this to help future generations with diabetes.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Diabetes UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
