I am running for autism to help all those parents out there who are struggling on a day to day basis with a child who has very limited communication skills. As a teacher I come across quite a few children who are on the autistic spectrum, this causes them both social and emotional difficulties. We definitely need to raise the profile of "autism" and let other people become aware as to how these children can be helped!
