On Sunday 14th May I completed a 15 mile walk around the old parish boundary of Lowther in the Lake District to raise much needed funds for research into ovarian cancer, with which I was diagnosed in July 2005. It took 6.5 hours, the first half of the day was dry, but we ended up rather wet!  But it was worth it, to be able to give so much funding to an extremely good cause.
