My name is Gill Shaw I am an award winning photographer based in London and I photograph people, including members of the Royal Family, Presidents, Prime Ministers and other Celebrities.  I also specialise in Portraits and PR Events.

I, for one, know that we have the best Armed Forces in the world and I am truly inspired by the whole concept of heroism.  My passion for this project was further kindled by the enormous coincidence I recently discovered ….. my son is going to Afghanistan in April and, when I met Bryn and Emma Parry from Help for Heroes,  I learnt that their son, Tom, is in the same regiment, both based at Bally Kinler and both going to Afghanistan in April.

My purpose in wanting to produce this book and subsequent exhibition is to show our War Heroes in a positive light, in these negative times. All profits from the sale of the book and the exhibition will go to Help for Heroes.
