Thank you for visiting our fundraising page in memory of Gill Simmons.
During Mums journey over the past years we all as a family required the help of friends and family to whom we are eternally grateful. We also called on the assistance of specialist people whose skills and kind heartedness we could have not been without and are also eternally grateful. The Ellenor Foundation The Ellenor is a registered charity, established in 1985 to provide hospice care in the home for children and adults living with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. All services are provided free of charge to patients and their families, so the Ellenor relies very heavily on donations and legacies to provide this vital service. Without the help from the Ellenor Foundation Mum would not have been able to end her journey in the comfort of her own home with all the people and possessions that she cared so much for.
When we needed that extra bit of support they were there to help us. In a time of great sadness and stress the Ellenor Foundation helped Mum and the family get through the hard times and enabled us to concentrate on the good times. Some close friends have asked if they could make a donation to charity and we could think of nothing better than to show our support for a team that have done so much for us. We know that money can never show how much we are grateful but hope that any donations given will help provide support for someone else that is in need and that is what Mum would have wanted. We would like to thank you for taking the time to read this letter and understanding how important the Ellenor Foundation has been to our family.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: The Ellenor Foundation Limited will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.
