The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Autism affects the lives of 500,000 families in the UK. Children and adults with autism have difficulties with everyday social interaction. To a large proportion of the general public children with autism are just badly behaved and adults just 'odd'. The National Autistic Society receives minimal government aid so fundraising is very important in raising awareness of the condition. The NAS is a young charitable organisation, established in 1962, running education and adult centres as well as supporting local authorities with specialist services. So every penny is enormously important to them.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Autistic Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
