After the 6 hours 1min 41secs of the London Marathon, I had high hopes for an under six hour London Moonwalk. The night was cold and drizzly to start with but cleared up nicely to provide pretty well perfect walking weather. And did I break the "magic" six hour barrier? Not quite I'm afraid. I had a great night and walked well without problems from joints or blisters though I will be conducting the last rites for a toenail in the next few weeks (only one though). The difference between this and the Marathon though is that the traffic is still running and you have to wait at traffic lights for your turn, quite often. So this time I took 6hours 4mins 25secs, 2minutes 44secs slower but I think the actual walking may have been fractionally faster. I'll just have to keep trying! If you can see your way to supporting me, that would be absolutely fantastic. We are walking for a great and highly deserving cause. Thank you so much Gilly.
