Story

After twelve years Matt and I have decided to get married.  It is probably one of the most anticipated occasions to occur this year, well apart from  winning the world cup!!

We are delighted that all of our friends and family will be there and hope that it will be a fantastic day.

The day will however be tinged with some sadness as my dad will not be there to walk me down the aisle or give a completely embarrassing wedding speech.  Unfortunately, as most of you will know, Barry died of cancer in September 1999. We want to make sure that he still makes an impact on the day and so have decided to invite our guests to make a donation to St Barnabas Hospice, whose staff so brilliantly cared for him in his final days. In this way we will be helping others who find themselves in need of such care and hopefully turn this sadness into something positive!!

About the charity
