Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre (Daisy Appeal) opened in 2008. The charity built the Jack Brignall PET-CT Scanning Centre in 2014. In 2024 we built a Molecular Imaging Research Centre to produce PET CT tracers. We are fundraising for a £3m digital scanner to help save more lives.

We are at the start of a great journey.....

I am cycling from Mull to Hull 450 miles for a variety of reasons: to have fun, because I can, as a part of a survival strategy and to try to raise a shed loads of money for charity!
I am doing the ride in different outfits which kindly and extremely generously provided by my sponsors. Following the bike ride I will auction all the donated fashion outfits and all the money will go to the Hull Oncology Unit.
The money raised from this event will be used to promote healthy eating, exercise and improved self – esteem. It will support an informed choice as to how people can help themselves after diagnosis to make life style changes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
