Someone said, or must have said ..'It's all about how you live your life, it's about making your life interesting'. This is what moves us the most.
We ran the New-York Half Marathon in 2008 to fund raise money for a local school for children with Cerebral Palsy. It was exciting, scary and fun. Since then we had our own baby Samuel (1 year old) and hardly had a proper sleep or done any exercises. It's fun but not so exciting.
We've once again
decided to run a Half-Marathon. The 'Run to the Beat' 13.1 mile run in London takes place on Sunday, September 25 . We are aiming to help raise awareness and financial support for SmallSteps.
SmallSteps is unique (in many-many ways) and reputable nursery school, providing programmes for children with disabilities and their parents.
I am a special eduction teacher and I have known SmallSteps team for years. I can call them friends since we met. They have a vision of a 'helping hand' school for families with disabled children that supported by other 'helping hands' so parents do not need to pay for the service.
SmallSteps has been asked to move out from Greenmead School (their present location for 14 years) by December. They do not know where they are going, how they will be able to carry on.
Doing something that will help others is already exciting.
Taking on new challenges when everyday life feels pretty challenging isn't easy but once again it makes life more interesting.
Make a difference, make your life interesting.
Please, help!
