7 Colleagues:4 Challenges and all in a good cause, CLIC Sargent, who care for children with cancer. What are the challenges?

 - Run in the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow - either 10km or a half marathon. Challenge Completed 5th September

- Swim 5 miles minumum of the Galleon Pool, Kilmarnock. Challenge Completed 25th October - 330 lengths - over 5 miles.

- 25 Mile Circular Cycle from Kilmarnock. Challenge Completed 30th October

- Climb Goat Fell on Arran. Challenge Completed 23rd November

and who are the 7 mad colleagues, most of whom have never done at least one of the above activities to any degree at all? We are Lirrie Craig, Lilian Smith, Liz Napier, Lisa McCarthy,Elaine Calderwood, Vanessa Murray, Katie McMillan.        

So why are we doing this? Sadly, we lost a good friend and colleague last year (Pamela) at only 39 and we know she was a committed supporter of CLIC Sargent and specifically Malcolm Sargent House in Prestwick which offers excellent seaside holiday breaks to children suffering with cancer from across the UK. We have been lucky enough to visit and see the fantastic work they do and we do know that £1000 will pay for all the costs to allow a family to travel and stay for a weeks break.
