Ace is a national disabled children's charity that aims to inform, support and train parents and professionals in the use of technology for young people who have communication difficulties, both in speaking and/or writing.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Those of you who know me, know  that my usual committment to fitness is to walk to the pub to the quiz night! In 2005 i got as fit as i've been for years and trekked the Grand Canyon, which was a tough and amazing experience.

I'm fortunate enough to be the fundraiser for an incredible charity called the ACE Centre which gives disabled children 'a voice' via ground breaking advances in technology that enable these special children to communicate

Spured by this and the fact that ACE needs money to help it contune its incredible work i've decided to take on the challenge of the Inca Trail in 2007! The actual costs of the trek are being covered by me and by selling some of prized collection of sporting memorabilia, meaning that every penny you donate will directly support the work of ACE.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ACE Centre Advisory Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
