Dreams Come True is a UK children’s charity whose sole purpose is to fulfil the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children and young people aged 2 to 21. In the last twenty years we have helped make over 3500 dreams come true and as a result debilitating illness, painful treatment and an uncertain future have been transformed with happiness, fun and wonderful, everlasting memories. You can make a world of difference by helping us make more dreams become a reality. If we can find a way to make a dream come true we will as we believe the only limit is a child’s imagination.

My story

Make a child's dream come true

Children with serious or terminal illness need your help. All they want is their dream to come true and you can make it a reality. For any child who knows they have little time left for life they want to get everything they can out of it. But they often have an ultimate dream - and you can help it come true.

Dreams Come True is a 20-year-old charity that has been helping terminally ill children achieve their dreams before their illness takes hold. A child's dream may be as simple as owning a laptop computer or as complex as touring the Lord of the Rings film set in New Zealand. But whatever it is, achieving their dream can make all the difference to children who have little time left.

For 2009 Dreams Come True is my Charity of the Year and I will be supporting them in as many ways as I can. For instance, some of my speaking fees will be donated to them - and if you want to book me to speak at your event and would like to make a difference then you could donate the fee to Dreams Come True, rather than paying me. Together, I'm sure we can make a difference to many children this coming year.
