About our charity : Vision Aid Overseas Vision Aid Overseas
Vision Aid Overseas is a charity dedicated to people in the developing world whose lives are blighted by poor eyesight. 300 million people world wide need spectacles to live an ordinary life, but do not have them due to poverty and the lack of optical services. The World Health Organisation has acknowledged this as the leading cause of avoidable visual impairment. Many people who are functionally blind simply need spectacles to see. Without them children fail at school, mothers and fathers have to stop working and elderly people are forced to live without dignity. The consequences for individuals and their communities can be devastating.

     VAO CHARITY GOLF DAY FRIDAY 17th OCT 2008 

This is the place for booking a place on our Vision Aid Overseas charity golf day at the Tytherington Club in Cheshire.

It is a tough course so you may want to get some practice in!

The cost is £50. There is coffee and crumpets and a free caddy for the day for one lucky player!

You can just donate or book a place for the day or do both!

Call Kingsley or Angus if you have any questions regarding tee times, etiquette or the rules of golf.

See you on the day. If you have any unused pairs of glasses please bring them along on the day for recycling.

All monies go to VAO minus the fees we need to pay the Tytherington Club. No monies are being spent on organising the event we are doing it in our own spare time :)

We can also claim the tax back on your behalf to give to VAO if you are a UK taxpayer at no cost to you.
