Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us because on Saturday 13th September we will be climbing Glen Shiel Ridge, Kintail on the West coast.  This will take us approximately 11 hours to complete, taking in 7 Munros and a total height gain of 5600 feet (3.9 times the height of TheEmpireStateBuilding!)

We are doing this to help raise funds for CLAN's 123 fundraising campaign (1 charity has 2 years to raise £3million).  The aim of the campaign is to raise funds to build a brand new building near Roxburgh House in Aberdeen, which will double the capacity for the fantastic services and support they offer.

Campbell Urquhart, Managing Director of The Urquhart Partnership is on the board of CLAN and The Urquhart Partnership have pledged to raise at least £25, 000 over the next 2 years to go towards the building cost and to sponsor the children's play area in the new facility.

The UPHill Mob is made up of employees and friends of The Urquhart Partnership - Alan (he's in charge and responsible for this idea!), Shiona, Alaina, Deirdre, Gavin, Laura Stephen,  Toby, Lynn, Ali, Josh, Stewart and Trish.  Most of us have climbed Munros before but never 7 in one day and we can definitely say, hands on hearts, this will be a serious challenge for the Mob and worthy of support!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Link Aberdeen & North will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
